MY EXPERIENCE THAT MATTERS
I’ve worked with some of the biggest brands in the world. Working at Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Marketing had me contributing to world-class film marketing campaigns for Disney, Pixar, Marvel and more.
Being the head of “synergy” for the studio had me working together with every brand that falls under The Walt Disney Company umbrella to create win-win marketing partnerships to help promote our film releases and other corporate priorities: ABC, ESPN, Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resorts, Disney Channel, Disney XD, ABC Family - now FreeForm, Disney Stores…you get the picture.
Plus, I ran Integrated Marketing efforts that leveraged our upfront paid media dollars to create added value promotions with every U.S. broadcast and cable network external to Disney as well as negotiating and executing strategic partnerships with brands like Olympics, NFL, MBA, NBA and more.
Why does this matter? Because my experience understanding the purpose of all these brands, their current goals, their audience and how they wanted to build their audience and brand - as well as knowing which film banner and specific film brand I was currently promoting - helped me be successful. You can’t partner, promote or market unless you understand the brands you’re working with and how each brand would benefit by working together. Ultimately, it all comes down to audiences (who the brands are for) and creating opportunities to connect with them in a more meaningful and impactful way.

I’m breaking down my 3-step method below, but when I’m working with a client 1-on-1, my experience working at Disney marketing movies for 15 years taught me to always leave room for magic, and that’s exactly what my Brandpolish Method allows.
1 - BRAND FOUNDATIONS
These are the branding essentials - or foundations - that brands require to express why they exist in the world, who they’re in business to serve, and how they intend to stand out in their market.
This first phase of developing your brand strategy includes:

In this second phase, you’re creating the following elements for your brand strategy:

3 - BRAND MARKETING
The final phase of the Brandpolish Method™ is to define how you plan to communicate to your audience as you promote your products and services in your marketing efforts.
In the third phase, you’ll focus on:
Brand Voice (identifying your brand’s tone of voice and the best way to communicate to have your brand personality shine while ensuring you’re resonating with the audience you’re looking to attract)
Branded Content Pillars (the content categories that help take your audience on a journey, preparing them for buying your offers and building your reputation for what you want your brand to be known for)
Implementing your brand strategy and messaging effectively on your website, and across all consumer touchpoints, creating “Brand Synergy.”
My Brandpolish Method is meant to be used as a guide and jumping off point for the branding elements you need to define so you can build a meaningful and memorable brand that showcases its value. Just remember, every brand is different and while one brand my lean further into Core Values to articulate their sustainability efforts they know their audience will deeply care about, another brand may double-down their positioning and messaging around their unique and disruptive process that truly sets them apart from anyone else in their market.
